Tom Hanks is known as one of the most talented and versatile actors in Hollywood. His career spans nearly thirty years, with numerous awards including an academy award for best actor in the film “Forrest Gump”. He has performed in many cinema classics, such as “The Green Mile”, “Road to Perdition”, “Philadelphia”, “Apollo 13″, “Cast Away”, and “A League of Their Own”. Tom Hanks has an impressive resume as an actor, producer, director and his charity work has touched many people’s lives.
On Monday, July 13th, 2009, at a afternoon service, a young prophet gave a word from God to Tom Hanks saying, “I saw Tom Hanks doing more action films! Your days of action movies are not over.” This is an amazing word for the 56 year old actor who has made action classics such as, Saving Private Ryan, and Dragnet. According to imdb.com (internet movie database. Com) he has a new film in pre-production.
“Boone’s Lick” is his upcoming western/action film in which he will star as Seth Cecil. Julianne Moore will co-star as Mary Margaret. This film is going to be directed by Barry Levinson, the director of Rain Man and Good Morning Vietnam. This will be a very demanding roll physically, and in fact, he will preform his own stunts. The film’s stunts involve horseback riding, fight scenes and gun use. Prophetic words are being fulfilled at a rapid rate. When God wants to be heard, listen for His voice.

what has giving proghesies to actors about their secular roles have to do with getting them saved? I don’t mean to be a “downer” but many christians find this use of an opportunity a wasted one when it only apprises one of but a trivial thing – a coming film & his role in it – rather than his spiritual state. I can only surmise that, if the prophesy was indeed from God, God is only “setting him up” or getting him comfortable with prophesying in general in order to “bring the word” or do an “altar call” or get this individual saying a “sinner’s prayer” at some later time. I am honestly wondering and not disparageing anything anyone has said. I don’t want to be a doubter or wet blanket but a lot of prophesiest, to quote a very zealous preacher, Neil Sunblatt out here in the San Jo area, are fluff!!!
