God can inspire you artistically in the spur of the moment — that’s what happened to Rocki, Misty, Sunny, Abigail, David, and Matt as they lead worship on Tuesday, July 7th, 2009 at the Voice Of Pentecost Church (VOP) 3pm weekday whirlwind service in San Francisco, California. According to Rocki, the whole move of God started when the youth pastor went up to begin a time of the prophetic. For some reason he paused. In the silence, Misty then began to sing in tongues as the Holy spirit over took her. “It was all God,” she said, “I just felt his presence and started to worship and sing Jesus praises. God moved in such a mighty way through all of us!” Matthew, the drummer for LANZA, joined in and started to play the drums in God’s divine presence. His brother David (the Bassist for LANZA) began playing with such vigor and passion that I felt chills down my back. As Abigail (an excellent pianist) commenced playing the keyboard, the Holy Spirit descended like wild fire throughout the sanctuary. At the same time, Sunny, a guitarist that sounds as if he’s been playing well over 20 years (even though he has just 11 years experience), ripped out solo after solo. Rocki started lifting up praises to our Lord, by singing “Jesus we love you”. She stated “It was an amazing experience to feel the Holy Spirit flow through me and every one else through music and worship!” God can meet you anywhere. He can inspire you in so many ways, from musical art to architecture. Let God use you.
